Teach by doing, not by viewing Our clients love the convenience of a multimedia interactive tool that they can use to learn how to operate our device at their own pace. It's fun, and sure beats scouring the pages of a training manual, or sitting through videos! With a computerized interactive presentation, I can now see how they're handling the material in real-life scenarios, but without risking patient care or comfort. These tools also let me see how effectively I'm teaching, and how well they are understanding. Reach a larger audience, As a nurse in a busy unit there never seems to be a convenient time for new product and/or drug inservices. If I have time, my coworkers may not, and it is hard for everyone to break together.
